Chapter 6-The next big deal
Moving to another country has many consequences on the situation of a man’s life.knut came face to face with a new culture and way of life.Culture facilitates communication between people.By so doing one does not need to explain what one does or says.It becomes a a reference point which one shares with others.It becomes obvious and often disguised for us.Conflicts can emerge when individuals from different cultures interact.
Culture is a pattern of behaviour we inherit from our parents,assimilate and pass over to our friends and relations without indicating what we feel about it.In addition , one can participate in both swedish culture and in his case Ghanaian culture at the same time.Diverse cultures can arise from being classmates who share a common experience from the same school or colleagues or friends from the old homeland.Meeting across cultural borders is a way of interpreting our view of the world in comparison with others.A sense of purpose is crucial for our self-esteem. Surviving dramatic changes in a person’s life such as a divorce or going into exile or emigration to another calls for an inner feeling of coherence which gives us motivation and hope when we are under great pressure.
Knut’s professional identity or occupation as a journalist provided the background for how others perceived him.He lost that point of departure when he migrated and subsequently his identity.In the ensuing emptiness he often asked himself “Who am I now?”
What happens when we lose our identity, personal belongings,language,professional identity , give up our dreams for the future, musik ,way of dressing ?How does one recreate a new identity? Knut was compelled to adopt a low profile in the process of recreating a new identity.
Working as a newspaper distributor played a crucial role in his efforts to recreate his identity.It gave him mental stimulation and a boost to his sense of self-esteem..Learning a new language also dramatically limited his ability to express himself verbally. The rate at which he produced articles for the press was considerably reduced.
In addition he nedded to make new friends having left behind his social network at home adapt to a much colder climate and a different diet.

Chapter five-the next big deal
knut marriage to Tamara offered many benefits.It was possible to transform his student status to one based on his new marriage..It was a happy marriage from the beginning .knut stayed together with Tamara and her 16-year old son in a tree-room apartment in Bandhagen ,in the south of stockholm.
However , economic difficulties led to marital breakdown which forced him to move once again after three years. Sylvia had applied for a divorce .Knut moved to Vårby Gård and rented a room in a three-room apartment from Samba, a young man from Gambia in the south of Stockholm.He stayed there for two years after which he got his a contrakt for an apartment in Huddinge .
In the face of their separation,knut’s next application to the immigration authorites to extend his stay was delayed. According to the laws of the country a foreigner who has permission to stay can only continue to stay stay if the marriage continues. Knut received a letter the high court saying that Syliva’s divorce application had been granted which implied the end of the marriage after five years. Knut’s continued stay with an was sitll uncertain when he was invited for an interview by the immigration authorites.
In the course of the interview ,he was informed by Svante,a young immigration officer that his application for extension could only be granted if the cause of the end of his marriage was violence from one his partner or if he had started a new relationship.However,knut fulfilled neither of these conditions.
“However there was another way out,” Svante said. “You are being granted permanent residency because of your of your special connection to the swedish society as a worker who after two years employment is considered established on the labour market. “

Chapter four-The Next Big Deal-Läggestavägen
Läggestavägen
The five years Knut lived in Bandhagen ,south of Stockholm were some the happiest in his life.Meeting his wife Tamara Chan,through a newspaper advertisement marked a turning point in his drab existence as a newspaper distributor working a night shift from 2am till 6am,six days a week. They lived initially on a street called Läggestaven and later to another address on Björkssungsligan 40.
Tamara was a nursing sister,illustrator,poet and singer with Jewish ethnicity whose parents had emigrated from Russia to Finland after the Second world war.She and her two sisters Lynn and Scarlett eventually moved to stay and find work in Stockholm.She was tall with long,curly brown hair,plump body and an oval face.She stayed together with Lester,her teenage son from a previous relationship.
Knut moved in to stay with Tamara just a couple of days after they met and they got married after staying together for about six months.Their marriage brought Knut closer to Fågelfors in Högsby commune located in the heart of the Swedish countryide where Tamara owned a villa.The family spent weeks staying at her villa in midsummer and summer.Knut’s marriage toTamara brought vitality and liveliness into knut’s personal life while extending his social network.

The next big deal-chapter three
Knut was really thankful that he had at least somewhere to lay his head for the night and the next few days.Its was really sad that how things had turned out. Economic considerations had brought a long standing friendship to an end.
The interesting aspect of the whole affair was that the situation had been saved by the generosity of yet another friend .It would appear that my friendship bond with Robert was much stronger given the fact we shared a common ethnicity in addition to the fact we have classmates at secondary school mates over seven years. It is said that old friends are always the best. .Here is a practical manifestation of that saying.
Nevertheless, there has to be a leap of faith in whatever we do which means we need to take a chance and try to realise our dreams even though no guarantee that we may succeed. After taking a quick shower and having dinner Knut introduced himself to other tenants who were also staying in the house.
Toby Munoz was a young man from Liberia ,medium height with a broad smile.Knut got help from him in order connect his smart to the internet in the property.Ryan Aboagye was the other tenant who Knut met in the kitchen. He was slim ,soft spoken with an oval face.He was warm,knowledgeable,kind and outgoing.

Loved by tha Pack -Spicy erotica with a happy ending
Aisha who seems to have the character of a slut bonds and mates with the pack of four shifters-Parker,Hardy,Tucker and Logan.
My favourite scene is where Aischa gets impregnated by Logan ,the prime alpha of the pack.Nevertheless,Aisha cannot help making love with Packer even as she was pregnant with Logans baby.
What I like about the book is that it Aisha is optimistic about the future and sees her pregnancy as the fulfilment of a prophecy.
